Sound therapy marries both the scientific and the spiritual worlds. An ancient healing technique now finding its place in western medicine. Clinical studies have shown lowered blood pressure, a reduction in anxiety, increased immune function, lowered overall stress. 30 minutes of sound therapy has the same effect of 10mg of valium.
The main happy side effects of a sound bath are a deep restorative nights sleep, lowered overall stress of mind & body and clarity of mind

During a session you will lie in a comfortable space with a blankets and pillows for your comfort. Entering a state of deep relaxation where you can experience the cellular healing qualities of the sound vibrations. The term ‘bath’ refers to the sound waves washing over you, there is no water involved.
Alice uses crystal alchemy singing bowls, the highest quality quartz crystal, making them incredibly resonant. The tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear, you feel them in your body, with certain tones affecting your energy centers (chakras) for healing, balancing & meditation. Alongside the singing bowls, Alice also uses Koshi Chimes and an optional gong depending on what your body needs at the time.
During the session Alice will incorporate Reiki which is both hands on or off treatment to continue bringing your body into a state of balance and relaxation.

Alice is a Reiki Master of both the Usui Reiki Ryoho (The Japanese - Usui Spiritual Energy Method) and Usui Shiki Ryoho (The Western Usui System of Natural Healing) The two together demonstrate the full scope of this beautiful system, each carrying rich information and possibility for our journeys of healing and awakening.
Within a session Alice incorporates some gentle sound healing using crystal tone bowls to begin your treatment followed by your relaxing, restorative, balancing reiki treatment.

Distance Reiki
A treatment available for those unable to travel to the studio, these sessions have been scientifically proven to work as effectively as close-contact Reiki all from the comfort of your own home. This is a tech free Reiki share, simply find a comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. Alice will send over a playlist of binaural beats to deepen your healing journey and simply prepare to receive at your chosen time. You will receive a voice note or message afterwards with any findings called to be shared.

BREATHWORK
The Breath has been regarded as the life center of the human experience. As we birth from the womb, the breath is the first natural movement we seek. We take in the first gasp of what gives us life - A precious gift of breath.
Breathwork describes a group of exercises that teach you to manipulate your breathing rate and depth with the goal of bringing awareness to your breath and ultimately providing the same benefits you might get from a meditative practice
Controlled breathing has been shown to reduce stress, increase alertness and boost your immune system. While various breathing practices have been around for centuries, science is just beginning to provide evidence that the benefits of this ancient practice are real. Studies have found that breathing practices can help reduce symptoms associated with a nxiety, i nsomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and attention deficit disorder.

The session lasts 60 minutes and is of sustained, rhythmic breathing techniques along to music. People who practice breathwork describe feeling tingling sensations throughout their body, feelings of clarity, alertness, increased mind-body connection and even emotional purging.

Breathwork, Reiki & Sound
Beginning with a guided transformational breath work session to music, we work through a grounding meditation, intention setting, releasing stored emotions and calling in the energies that serve you, you will receive Reiki during the session. This session glides beautifully into a relaxing sound bath, the body is already relaxed the brain is already in the meditative state allowing you to journey even deeper into your meditation. The Sound bath is created using the crystal alchemy bowls with the choice of a gong addition and ending with Koshi Chimes.
